The meeting with Paweł Kulczyński will be devoted to the use of synthesizers to control the spatial parameters of sound. This is an advanced and innovative approach to the ambisonic format, enabling a polyphonic approach to the creation of space and its acoustics, which can be experienced during the Canti Spazializzati #15 concert the day before.
The workshop will introduce participants to the strategy of spatial sound synthesis and propagation in an ambisonic environment. The software used will be available free of charge and on all systems – DAW Reaper, Surge synthesizer, and a set of IEM plugins. Basic knowledge of how to use these tools will help in participating in the workshop. For those just taking their first steps in ambisonics, we will provide a video recording of our previous workshops with Przemek Danowski before the workshop, which served as an introduction to this topic.
