The concept of the ZEMITER duo is based on the synergy of personalities and musical experience of Marcin Dymiter aka emitter and Hubert Zemler. From their first meeting, the two musicians realized that they complement each other perfectly. Emiter, as an experienced creator of electronic music, collector of atmospheres and ambient sounds, is responsible for spatial layers, field recordings or concrete sounds. Zemler, on the other hand, focuses on creating rhythmic structures and color experiments. The music created by the ZEMITER duo defies clear categorization. On the one hand, we have experimentation and electro-acoustic explorations, and on the other, an incredible fluidity and intriguing pleasure of communing with acoustic waves.
Hubert Zemler – Warsaw-based percussionist, composer and improviser. He engages in projects on the borderline of contemporary music, electronics and improvisation, as well as in all other forms of percussion activity. In addition to solo projects, he often contributes as an accompaniment percussionist. He also creates film music. He has collaborated with Felix Kubin , Todd Barton, Jon Gibson, Evan Ziporyn, Gyan Riley, Felix Kubin, John Tilbury, Agusti Fernandez, Waclaw Zimpel (LAM trio), Raphael Rogiński , Kamil Szuszkiewicz (Zebry a Mit, Istina) or the group Mitch&Mitch.
Marcin Dymiter – moves in the field of electronics, improvised music. Creates
sound installations, radio plays, music for films, theatrical performances, exhibitions and public spaces. He plays for silent films. Conducts original sound workshops and activities introducing the idea of field recording. Creator of sound maps, the Field Notes project and the educational music series Tracklista. Co-founder of the Institute of Sound Landscape. Member of the Polish Electroacoustic Music Association. Collaborates with visual artists and dance theater. He plays in projects: low noise, emiter_franczak audio video performance, TRYS SAULES,MAPA. He has collaborated and played with musicians from the areas of electronica, jazz and avant-garde and contemporary music, including: Paul Wirkus, Rosa Arruti, Le Quan Ninh, Rob Mazurek, Ingar Zach, Sophie Agnel, Thomas Lehn, Ignaz Schick, John Butcher, Axel Dorner, Andrew Sharpley, Wolfgang Fuchs, Krzysztof Knittel, Mikołaj Trzaska, Mikołaj Pałosz, Raphael Rogiński, Patryk Zakrocki, Marek Chołoniewski, Tomasz Chołoniewski, Dagna Sadkowska, Michał Górczynski, dj Lenar.
